At BrightBee, we believe great work is about more than just completing tasks—it’s about how you show up, connect with others, and bring your best self to every assignment. Our Bright Beehavior framework helps guide Bees in creating positive, professional, and engaging experiences for students, staff, and families.
The next sections of this guide break down three key areas that define a BrightBee at their best:
Beeing Personable – Building genuine connections with students, staff, and families through kindness, empathy, and approachable communication.
Beeing Professional – Maintaining high standards in reliability, accountability, and respect while following policies and procedures.
Beeing Engaged – Actively contributing to the school environment, participating in initiatives, and embracing opportunities to learn and grow.
By putting these behaviors into practice, you not only increase the likelihood of receiving positive feedback as a NewBee (your first 10 assignments), but you also improve your chances of being requested back by a school site. When a school requests you back, you may receive first access to assignments before other Bees in your hive!
We encourage you to read the subsequent articles in this section for actionable tips and real-world examples on how to shine bright in every interaction. Your approach, attitude, and engagement can make a lasting impact—and set you up for continued success as a BrightBee.
